Suspicious device found in car near the Pentagon

ARLINGTON, Virginia - One person was taken into custody and police were searching for at least one other in connection to a suspicious device found during a traffic stop near the Pentagon.
NBCWashington.com reports authorities say a ‘suspicious device’ was found inside the vehicle when the driver was stopped.

Pentagon police spokesman Chris Layman told the Associated Press one person was taken into custody early Friday and that one or two other people may be involved. Layman says the car is in bushes near the Pentagon's north parking lot.

NBCWashington.com reports the vehicle may be linked to another unspecified investigation in Arlington, Virginia and that a bomb squad has been called to the scene.
Blocked roads in the area include Routes 27 and 110, all ramps to and from Interstate 395 and eastbound Interstate 66 to Route 110.

In another incident earlier this week, a motorist found with a gun and what appeared to be a suspicious package near the Pentagon was taken into custody.
