World's most interesting prisons

Prisons are meant to keep those who have done socially unacceptable deeds away from society, and at the same time be a form of punishment for crime-doers. While most of us have come to know of prisons as systems meant to take away the freedom of those who have done society wrong, some of the following prisons seem less intimidating than they should be. Some are so well-equiped that one some criminals would rather admit to a crime just so they could live in prison! Nevertheless, some are so poorly built that the idea of human rights seems to be completely violated.
