By day, Miss Putt Chwee Rong, 28, is a medical product manager.
But come night fall about three times a week, she strips off her office attire and dons something a lot skimpier for her other passion – pole dancing.
She is among the hundreds of women, and a handful of men, flocking to dance studios to pick up the dance.
The New Paper photojournalist Benjamin Seetor followed Miss Putt as she got ready for her big performance at the Bobbi's Pole Studio's Amateur Night 2011 at St James Power House on Dec 19.
SHOWTIME: Miss Putt executing a "right leg hang" during her performance in front of a crowd of about 400. She said: "I have improved tremendously compared to the last performance. I am physically stronger and able to do more challenging tricks."
